Several names seemed poised to earn the honor, but the official reveal has finally shown fans exactly who will grace the EA Sports College Football 25 cover. As seen above, the franchise return won't just feature a single athlete.

The EA Sports College Football 25 cover athletes are Quinn Ewers (Texas Longhorns), Donovan Edwards (Michigan Wolverines), and Travis Hunter (Colorado Buffaloes). This marks only the second time multiple cover athletes have been chosen to share the same cover, but we did see several athletes with different covers for each platform two others times in the NCAA Football days.

The EA Sports College Football 25 Deluxe Edition cover features the same three players, but they're also surrounded by players from many other schools. You may be able to find even more, but other players with their names shown here include Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State Buckeyes), Carson Beck (Georgia Bulldogs), and Jalen Milroe (Alabama Crimson Tide). We've got more details here about the different EA Sports College Football 25 editions and which might be right for you.

Despite a lengthy hiatus and a name change, the EA Sports College Football 25 cover athletes join an elite and storied list. With this year's three main cover athletes, there have now been 28 different athletes to grace the main cover of NCAA Football or EA Sports College Football. If you include the three other players with visible names from the Deluxe Edition, the total climbs to just 31 athletes since this series began in late 1993. There's also Bill Walsh, a few mascots, and one marching band that got a cover nod.

Here's a list of every cover athlete before the EA Sports College Football revival:

  • Bill Walsh College Football ('94) - Stanford Coach Bill Walsh
