Apex Legends has collaborated with Square Enix to bring a crossover event in the game in order to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The event gives you a chance to grab some exclusive rewards in the game, and one of them is the mythic Buster Sword R5 Heirloom.

Buster Sword R5 is a symbol of the iconic hero Cloud Strife, who wielded it in his fight against the evil Shinra Corporation and the mysterious Sephiroth. If you want to grab Buster Sword R5 Heirloom in Apex Legends, here is how you can do it.

How To Get Buster Sword R5 Heirloom In Apex Legends

Buster Sword R5 is a Universal Mythic Melee Cosmetic that can be equipped by any legend in place of their fists or existing Heirloom, and it is available during the Apex Legends Final Fantasy VII Rebirth event that will run till January 30. 

The Buster Sword R5 will not give you any competitive advantage, and in order to get it, you need to purchase Apex Legends & Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Event Packs, which cost 1,000 Apex Coins each. There is a small chance to get the Buster Sword R5 in the Event Pack, but you are guaranteed to get it after opening 36 Event Packs.

Apart from this, you can also buy a Four-Pack for a guaranteed Legendary or Iconic item until all of those rarities are obtained.
