October 6, 2023 - Dice releases info about what to expect in Season 6

In a recent Tweet, we got a lot of new information about what to expect in Season 6 which includes a new map called Redacted and a couple of new weapons.

DICE talks about their silence about Season 6 and claims that they are going to give players more information about Season 6 in the near future.

The official Battlefield Twitter account has confirmed that they'll be sharing more news on upcoming quality-of-life changes coming in Season 5. This includes:

  • evolving vault weapons
  • vehicle loadout rework
  • improving Dozer & Irish
  • Squad Management & Squad Orders

24 March 2023 - Will Season 5 Come With A Year 2 Upgrade?

A new Reddit post this week has unearthed what looks like to be a pretty substantial leak for the game. In the API, it looks like something has been added and it is called the YEAR 2 UPGRADE. It looks like there are a bunch of placeholders surrounding this potential upgrade as well. The placeholder includes the price, start date, and a couple of other placeholders. It seems like EA is gearing up something big for Battlefield 2042.

Could this come with Season 5 later this year? It seems like a good chance.

26 February 2023 - Fewer Leaks Coming For Season 5?

It's worth noting that when it comes to leaks surrounding Battlefield 2042 Season 5, there might be a whole lot less. That's because one of the main sources of datamined info, Temporyal, will be taking an extensive break for the foreseeable future.

It's possible we still get leaks surrounding the game, but it's likely there will be less info revealed in the future.

When Will Battlefield 2042 Season 6 Release?

As of this writing, Battlefield 2024 Season 6 has been officially confirmed by DICE. It has been a while since the start of Season 5. Thankfully, it seems like the developers are finally ready to give us some more information about what is going to happen in Season 6 of Battlefield 2042.

More than likely, Battlefield 2042 Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 will start on October 10th. This was just recently confirmed by the developers who have given us a lot of information about Season 6 of the game.

What Is Coming To Battlefield 2042 Season 6?

From the information that we have gotten for Battlefield 2042 Season 6, it looks like there is a good chunk of content coming our way. One of the biggest pieces of new content that is coming is the new map called Redacted. Described as a Scottish facility, this map is designed to be very narrow. So close-range fights are going to be key here.

There are also going to be a couple of new weapons as well. The G428 DMR, the VHX-D3 AR, and the L9CZ Sidearm are all coming to Season 6 of Battlefield 2042. New ammo and medical pouches are coming which allows you to throw much-needed supplies to your teammates.
