With the Modern Warfare 3 beta now live, players are wondering if their progress will carry over to the full game when it launches.
Does Modern Warfare 3 Beta Progress Carry Over To Full Game?

The Modern Warfare 3 beta is underway, with players getting their first hands-on experience with the latest Call of Duty title ahead of its launch on November 10. The beta, which drops players into the game's Multiplayer mode, takes place across two weekends: the first is exclusive to PlayStation players, while the second opens up the beta to those across all platforms.

While playing, CoD fans stand to earn and unlock a number of exclusive rewards themed around the beta. These range from emblems, decals, to a full Operator skin. Players can also level up and unlock attachments for their weapons and loadouts, which begs the question: will your beta progress carry over to the full game once it launches? Here's what you need to know.

Will My MW3 Beta Progress Carry Over To Launch?

Unfortunately, no. Your Modern Warfare 3 progress will not carry over to the full version of the game when it launches on Nov. 10. This means that all your leveling, weapon experience, perks and equipment will not be available to use in the full game if you've unlocked it during the beta. You'll need to start over again.

Despite this, though, any cosmetics rewards you earn during the beta will still be available to use when MW3 launches. The beta weekends allow players to progress to Level 20 during the first weekend, then Level 30 during the second. While players will be unlocking weapons, attachments etc. as they progress, they'll only be usable for the duration of the beta.

No, any items loadout weapons, attachments, or items that you've unlocked during the beta will not carry over to the full Modern Warfare 3 release. Players will be starting from scratch once MW3 launches on Nov. 10.

So you might be wondering, what's the point in levelling up during the beta? Well, aside from earning come cosmetics rewards that will carry over, you'll also get a taste of which attachments will be available when the game does launch. It'll also give you a chance to test out loadouts early, meaning you'll have a better idea of what to work towards when the full game goes live.

As a reminder, the Modern Warfare 3 beta will end on October 16, so be sure to get the absolute most out of your game while you can.
