Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks This Week (April 2024)

In the horror game Dead by Daylight, the Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store where players can purchase perks using Iridescent Shards. When those perks are purchased, they are instantly unlocked on all killers or survivors; you won't need to spend any bloodpoints on your characters to get the perks you've purchased, saving you a ton in the long run. The Shrine refreshes each week on a Tuesday, with two new perks for survivors and two for killers. Now let's take a look at the Shrine for this week.

What Time Does DBD Shrine Of Secrets Reset?

The Shrine of Secrets used to refresh at the stroke of midnight every Wednesday. But in more recent months the Shrine of Secrets has reset on a Tuesday at 5pm UTC.

What Is The Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets This Week?

The Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets this week is:

• Ultimate Weapon - A unique perk belonging to The Xenomorph Alien
• Scourge Hook: Hangman's Trick - A unique perk belonging to The Pig
• Adrenaline - A unique perk belonging to Meg Thomas
• Decisive Strike - A unique perk belonging to Laurie Strode

Below is a closer look at the perks in the Shrine this week, and how they work.

Ultimate Weapon

When you open a locker, this perk activates for 30 seconds.

Survivors entering your Terror Radius scream, reveal their position and gain Blindness for 30 seconds.

This perk goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds.

Blindness prevents Survivors from seeing auras.

Scourge Hook: Hangman's Trick

Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability and your ingenious modifications to Hooks alert you of tampering.

At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks:

• The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white.
• Receive a Loud Noise Notification, whenever a Survivor starts sabotaging a Hook.
• While carrying a Survivor, the Auras of all Survivors within 8/10/12 metres of a Scourge Hook are revealed to you.

Adrenaline

You are fuelled by unexpected energy when on the verge of escape.

Instantly heal one health state and sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for 5 seconds when the exit gates are powered. Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled at the moment it should take effect and will activate when freed.

Adrenaline will wake you up if you are asleep when it triggers.

Adrenaline ignores the Exhausted status effect.

Causes the Exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.

Exhausted prevents Survivors from activating exhausting perks.

How Much Does The Shrine Of Secrets Cost?

The perks available in the Shrine cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards for Tier 1, 4,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 2, and 6,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 3.

Unlocking a perk at Tier 1 will unlock it for all survivors at perk tier 2, while unlocking a perk at Tier 2 will unlock perk tier 2, and so forth.
