A new reports suggests more Elden Ring DLCs could be on the way.

More Elden Ring content may be in the works outside of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC that was revealed earlier this year. This surprising piece of info comes from Kadokawa Corporations, the parent company of FromSoftware.

According to a new Kadokawa financial report, "various measures are currently in progress for Elden Ring, including the development of major DLC, to maximize LTV." While it isn't entirely clear if it's referring to a new DLC or a brand-new game, it certainly confirms that more Elden Ring stuff is on the way.

In the interest of sharing, Dark Souls 2 received three DLCs, whereas Dark Souls 3 had two major expansions, which suggests FromSoftware has no problem supporting a game for years to come.

Interestingly enough, there have been rumors about Netflix adapting a Dark Souls Anime. This could also be true for Elden Ring, and honestly, we would love to see an anime adaptation similar in scope and size to Netflix's Castlevania.

As of February 2023, Elden Ring has sold more than 20 million copies, making it one of the most commercially successful games in history. As such, it's no surprise that the company is willing to make more Elden Ring stuff. There is always the possibility of a movie or TV adaptation by PlayStation, whose parent company bought a small stake in FromSoftware last year.

Whether it's a new Elden Ring DLC or something entirely different, fans will have to wait for an official announcement, which could be pretty far, given that the Shadow of the Erd DLC doesn't have a release date, and also that From has another major game release to focus on.
