Elden Ring Still Has Secrets To Uncover, Says Miyazaki

While Elden Ring fans are looking ahead to the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, director Hidetaka Miyazaki says there's still "a small element" that has yet to be uncovered in the main game. 

In an interview with IGN, Miyazaki didn't reveal exactly what that one secret was, but said, "Whether that’s up to user interpretation or up to just further investigation and playing, that’s something I’m looking forward to. I think it’s a question of when and not if, but there may be something small still missing.” 

Elden Ring entered the world back in 2022 and, since then, players have been combing the Lands Between for every hidden secret and feature. For Miyazaki to reveal that perhaps something has been missed will no doubt light a fire underneath the game's most dedicated players. 

But it won't be long before players have even more to discover. FromSoftware recently dropped a gameplay trailer for the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, set to arrive on June 21, 2024.
