Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 2 Release Date Window

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 will be released in "late 2023", according to developers. They announced the game in the form of a teaser trailer, announcing the game's rough release date at the end. This teaser trailer was shown for the first time in May 2023, at the PlayStation Showcase.

As it's already August, it's likely that we could see an October release to celebrate the Halloween season, or perhaps a drop around Christmas time. This, however, is just speculation on our part, as Steel Wool Games has yet to announce a more specific release date or time for the game.

Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 2 Gameplay

Like the original Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, it seems that Help Wanted 2 will require VR to play. You'll need PS VR2 in order to get the game to run properly. This means it won't be available on many platforms, though, which might be a downside to some players who don't have access to virtual reality.

While we have a little hint at when the game will come out, what about gameplay? While the trailer doesn't show any actual gameplay, it's highly likely that the game will play much like Help Wanted, with a first-person perspective and highly immersive experience, making excellent use of the innovative VR aspect. It's a new spin on the FNAF franchise, branching out from the original games and slightly earlier titles like Security Breach.
