How To Mark Enemies In Fortnite (Weekly Challenge)

The latest Fortnite patch update has dropped, and with it comes a bunch of new Weekly Challenges for players to tackle. And while some of these challenges may seem like a piece of cake, some of you may be scratching your heads about how to mark enemies in Fortnite. But don't worry; I got your back with at least three options for getting it done. So without further ado, let's dive into the guide on how to mark enemies in Fortnite and make those challenges a breeze.

How To Mark Enemies In Fortnite

There are many ways to mark enemies in-game, each of which is detailed below. It's worth mentioning that the Recon Scanner (now vaulted) is another way you can track opponents.

Place Marker (Ping Function)

First up, we got the good old Place Marker (or Ping Function) which you can use to notify your squad of the location of items and points of interest on the map. But here's the pro tip, aim your gun at an opponent and double-tap the ping button (middle mouse button or left D-pad), and boom, you just marked an enemy in Fortnite.

Falcon Scout

Next up, we got the Falcon Scout. This bad boy is a new item in the game and a game-changer when it comes to marking enemies. You can fly around and use the 'Scan for Enemies' feature to mark the location of enemy players. Just keep in mind that the Falcon has a limited range and can be shot at by other players.

Capture Points

Thirdly, you can mark enemies in Fortnite using the Capture Points method. If you're not familiar with this one, we got a separate guide on how to claim Capture Points, so be sure to check it out.

Augments

Lastly, we got the Augments. You can activate Bloodhound and Storm Mark to mark enemies in Fortnite. However, it's worth mentioning that finding these Augments will require a bit of luck, so keep your eyes peeled.

And there you have it, folks. A combination of these methods will have you marking enemies like a pro. Just remember, you can't mark an enemy you've just shot, so mark them before you take them down. Happy hunting, Fortnite squad!
