How To Get All Three Deathly Hallows In Hogwarts Legacy

Before we continue, it should go without saying that there are some serious spoilers ahead. So please don't say that we didn't warn you. This is your only chance to look away. Seriously, we mean it. Still here? Fine, suit yourself. You can obtain the Deathly Hallows in Hogwarts Legacy by completing the Niamh Fitzgerald's Keeper Trial in the headteacher's office. This quest will become available at Level 23 after completing The Polyjuice Plot with Professor Fig.

Specifically, you'll use the Polyjuice Potion to turn into Professor Black to learn more about a particular kind of ancient magic, which you'll encounter after venturing into the Restricted Section with Sebastian Sallow. Once you're in the headmaster's office, you'll engage in a dialog with the portrait of former headmistress Niamh Fitzgerald; she'll instruct you to read a book on the pedestal, which initiates the Keeper Trial.

Cloak of Invisibility

Upon reading the book, you'll be transported into an otherworldly realm within the book and must navigate through a town using the Disillusionment Charm without being seen by Death. After some time, you'll discover a mysterious cloak that... you guessed it, turn you invisible. The Invisibility Cloak is the first of the three Death Hallows in Hogwarts Legacy. With the cloak, you can safely navigate passed Death.

Elder Wand

Shortly after that, you'll be transported back into the otherworldly realm. You'll then see a familiar wand glowing in the distance. Niamh will warn you, "Wield the wand you see before you. Do not squander its extraordinary power." This is the original Elder Wand, the second Deathly Hallow you'll get in Hogwarts Legacy. You'll then be transported back to a strange town, fighting off Death with the Elder Wand.

Resurrection Stone

After eradicating Death, you'll return to the otherworldly realm, where you'll see a mysterious stone. As you might have guessed once again, this is the Resurrection Stone, the third and final Deathly Hallow in Hogwarts Legacy. Next, you'll use the stone to "pass through the mourners" in a strange town, where you'll find the ghost of Niamh. She will tell you that although you've found her, you cannot "undo what's been done" because the "magic of the stone can only conjure a shadow of [her] former self." Finally, follow Niamh's shadow to a Pensieve, where you'll learn more about the ancient magic you possess before being transported back to the real world.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to keep the three Deathly Hallows you found during the quest. That said, it is possible to get something close to it. Specifically, you can check out our guide on how to get an Elder Wand in Hogwarts Legacy. Of course, it's not the same as Albus Dumbledore's wand, but it's close enough. Want to learn more?
