League of Legends Lunar Revel 2023 Start & End Dates

League of Legends
Are you ready for the upcoming Lunar Revel event?

As of writing this article, there is no confirmed release date for the League of Legends 2023 Luna Revel event.

Typically, League of Legends Lunar New Year Events start sometime in mid-late January and last for about a month. Here is a look back at some of the previous Lunar Revel start dates:

Lunar Revel 2022  January 6 - February 28
Lunar Beasts 2021 February 4 - March 9
Mecha Kingdoms 2020 January 15 - February 19
Lunar Revel 2019 January 28 - March 4
Lunar Revel 2018 February 8 - February 19

Because of this, we can expect the 2023 Lunar New Year event to be released sometime in January 2023 and will end sometime in February 2023.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2023 Skins

League of Legends
2022's Lunar Revel skins were the "Porcelain" line of skins.

At the time of writing this, there are no confirmed new year skins for 2023. However, we can make some assumptions based on the Chinese New Year Calendar. Typically, new year skins will have some kind of connection to what animal is featured for that year of the Chinese calendar. In 2022, it was the year of the Tiger, and in 2023, it is the year of the rabbit. This means that there is a good chance that we may be receiving some rabbit-themed skins for New Year. Perhaps a new Battle Bunny line of skins? We can always dream. In any case, expect to see some Chinese-inspired skins next year.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2023 - What Else To Expect

League of Legends
Some free cosmetics are on their way!

The Lunar Revel events don't typically come with new game modes, such as the Halloween Doom Bots on Halloween or the Legend of the Poro King during Christmas. However, there will almost definitely be a set of missions for players to complete in order to earn in-game currency that can be transferred for Prestige skins, Hextech Chests, and more.

Additionally, there will probably be a handful of goodies given out for free, including emotes, Summoner icons, ward skins, and more. Be sure to stay tuned as we cover any new information that releases.
