Since its launch on 14 September 2023, I've been enjoying Niantic and Capcom's Monster Hunter Now, the augmented-reality mobile experience available on Android and iOS devices. It seems that over 10 million players have also been out in the wilds, slaying monsters, collecting their parts, and crafting a host of gear!

Yes, on 19 October 2023, just over a month after the game's launch, the developers announced that Monster Hunter Now has been downloaded over 10 million times on Android and iOS combined!

There is no doubt that 10 million downloads one month after launch is a big achievement, and to commemorate it, the developers have a gift for the community.

All players can use a new Monster Hunter Now code "MHNow10M" to claim x2 Potions, x1 Wander Droplet, and x5,000 Zenny. Claim this code for free rewards before 21 November 2023!

Niantic's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Kei Kawai, explains:

We are delighted that so many people from all over the world have been playing our game in the first month since its global release. The adventure of this game has only just begun and we will continue to respond to feedback and work hard to bring more fun and surprises to our Hunters in the months to come.

The Monster Hunter franchise producer at Capcom, Ryozo Tsujimoto, spoke about the game's launch and player milestone:

We are very grateful that so many people have been enjoying Monster Hunter Now in the month since its global release. Players all over the world are responding to being able to play a true Monster Hunter experience in a unique and casual way in the real world.

Niantic continues to improve the Monster Hunter Now experience with updates, and while not everything is perfect, for example, the Paintball system needs some work, we are sure it won't be long until the game grows to 20 million or more!
