Do you want to become an "expert Hunter" and reach Hunter Rank 11 in Monster Hunter Now quickly? Then, you will need to complete all the objectives of the game's Prologue chapters.

In this guide, we outline all the Monster Hunter Now prologue chapters, their objectives, and Hunter Rank Points (HRP) you can earn as rewards to level up, so let's pick up that Longsword and leap in!

Monster Hunter Now Prologue Objectives & Rewards

There are six chapters in the Monster Hunter Now prologue and several objectives. All these objectives provide Hunter Rank Points (HRP) so you can level up. You'll see some "Urgent Quests" marking the end of certain chapters as you unlock spawns for the corresponding monster you need to slay.

Prologue Chapter Monster Hunter Now Quest/Objective Reward
Chapter 1 Slay three (3) monsters 50 HRP
  Slay Great Jagras 50 HRP
Chapter 2 starts Slay three (3) monsters 100 HRP
  Urgent Quest: Slay one (1) Kulu-Ya-Ku 50 HRP
Chapter 3 starts Upgrade equipment (Weapon) 50 HRP
  Gather three (3) items at a gathering point 50 HRP
  Slay three (3) monsters 50 HRP
  Urgent Quest: Slay one (1) Pukei-Pukei  50 HRP
Chapter 4 starts Gather three (3) items at gathering points 50 HRP
  Slay one (1) large monster 50 HRP
  Slay a monster with Jagras Set, Sword & Shield equipped. 50 HRP
  Slay one (1) large monster 50 HRP
  Gather three (3) items at gathering points 50 HRP
  Slay monster with Kulu Set, Head equipped 50 HRP
  Slay three (3) monsters 50 HRP
  Gather three (3) items at gathering points 50 HRP
  Urgent Quest: Kill one (1) Barroth 100 HRP
Chapter 5 starts Slay one (1) large monster 50 HRP
  Slay three (3) monsters 50 HRP
  Gather three (3) items at gathering points 50 HRP
  Slay one (1) large monster 50 HRP
  Gather three (3) items at gathering points 50 HRP
  Slay three (3) large monsters 50 HRP
  Slay five (5) monsters 50 HRP
  Gather five (5) items at gathering points 50 HRP
Chapter 6 Urgent Quest: Slay two (2) Great Jagras 100 HRP

Once you've completed the Prologue chapters and all their objectives in Monster Hunter Now, you should be close to or have reached Hunter Rank 11 (expert hunter), unlocking the main story and daily special quests.
