Wondering if the MultiVersus servers are currently down or having connection/disconnection issues? Then you've come to the right place, as we explain how to check the MultiVersus server status.

For those who don't know, MultiVersus is a new platform fighting game that is taking the industry by storm after its free-to-play Open Beta release on 26th July 2022 on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Since the game is free for everyone, the MultiVersus servers are under some pressure, and certain players are experiencing a few connection issues.

Update on 28 March 2023: MultiVersus servers will be shutting down on 25 June 2023 and only start up again in early 2024.

Are the MultiVersus Servers Down?

First, the MultiVersus Open Beta is officially available in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. There are multiple servers for each region.

At the time of writing, the MultiVersus servers appear operational. They are not down. The servers will go down for maintenance on 27th September 2022 from 09:00 to 10:00 PT

This, however, could change at a moment's notice. MultiVersus servers can go down for several reasons, including scheduled server maintenance or unplanned outages.

At the time of writing, there aren't many options to check the MultiVersus server status, except for following the game's official Twitter account and WB Games Support.

As you can see from the image above, the official MultiVersus Twitter account does let players know about server maintenance.

What about unexpected connection issues or server downtime? Well, there is no specific server page. However, on Twitter, you can follow the MultiVersus developer Player First Games' co-founder Tony Huynh. Per the image below, this person also updates fans on server build issues.

If the MultiVersus servers appear to be operational, but you still get disconnected or can't log in, we suggest contacting the game's support service or creating a ticket.

We will endeavor to update this article once more ways to check the game's server status becomes available. If you are reading this shortly after MultiVersus' Open Beta launch, please give it some time as a free-to-play title of this magnitude is sure to have some connection issues shortly after release.
