There are plenty of Support Heroes in Overwatch 2 and from what was announced at BlizzCon, another is on the way. Here's everything we know so far about 'Space Ranger', the next Support Hero coming to Overwatch 2.

Who is Space Ranger

For the time being, the only piece of lore that's been revealed about the new support hero 'Space Ranger' is that she comes from a colony set on Mars.

Her name isn't even Space Ranger. That's just a placeholder for the time being until Blizzard reveals the character properly.

When Is Space Ranger Coming To Overwatch 2

During BlizzCon, we got full confirmation that Space Ranger will be making her way to Overwatch 2 on Season 12. It is going to take some time before we get Space Ranger added to the game, as based on the usual cadence of content, Season 12 won't be released until the second half of 2024.

What Abilities Will Space Ranger Have In Overwatch 2

At the time of this writing, we have zero ideas on what abilities Space Ranger will have in Overwatch 2. Even the concept art shown at BlizzCon was out of date. All we truly know is that Space Ranger will be a highly mobile Support Hero in the game. The developers even confirmed that her gun is no longer the burst-fire SMG shown in the concept art.

Based on her concept art and what has been said, it is very likely that Space Ranger will have some sort of jetpack. However, weapons, abilities, and more are still a mystery for the time being. We will just have to wait until closer to the launch to learn more about this upcoming Support Hero.
