Pokémon Presents August 2023: How To Watch, Start Time, What To Expect

If you are wondering how to watch the upcoming Pokemon Presents, we have you covered. The Pokemon Company has just announced that there is a new Pokemon Presents on the way and there is a lot that can be coming from them. In previous broadcasts, we received information about a lot of new Pokemon games, like Pokemon Sleep.

There are also a lot of live-service Pokemon games that we could see some updates for, such as Pokemon Home where you can store all of the Pokemon you have caught throughout the mainline games. Here, we will break down what to expect from the upcoming Pokemon Presents.

The upcoming Pokemon Presents can only be watched on the official Pokemon YouTube Channel. Normally there will be multiple different avenues such as Twitch that the Pokemon Presents will be available on. But, according to the tweet by The Pokemon Company, the only way to watch Pokemon Presents this time around is through YouTube.

There's still a bit of time until the Pokemon Present happens. The official broadcast will start on August 8th at 6 am PDT, which is 8 am EST and 2 pm BST. The entire broadcast will last 35 minutes, which means there is going to be a lot of content to check out.

In the announcement, the Pokemon Presents which usually follows a blue and white color scheme briefly turns into a neon purple color. If we had to guess, we could see Mewtwo make an appearance in some way. Perhaps even a Mewtwo-related Pokemon Legends game, in a similar vein to Arceus. There's also a chance that the iconic Pokemon could show up in a Tera Raid for Scarlet and Violet.

Outside of Mewtwo, the most likely content that we will see is information about the first DLC coming to Scarlet and Violet. It's unlikely that we will get information about the next mainline Pokemon game, but there's the possibility for more information on Detective Pikachu, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon GO, and other side games. Information about the Pokemon World Championship is likely to arise as well, as Worlds begins on August 11th.
