Twitch GrubTruckers Stream Shows Idaho Homicide Victims' Final Hours

Per reports by CNN, four students in Moscow, Idaho, were fatally stabbed sometime after 1:45 AM on 13th November 2022. Moscow Police Chief, James Fry, gave an update on Wednesday, 16th November 2022, saying two additional roommates were in the home at the time of the killings, neither of whom was injured nor held hostage.

Among the four students, victims Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle were at a party on campus. The other two, Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves, were at a downtown bar prior to their deaths.

That said, online footage of Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves on Twitch has recently surfaced, showing the Idaho students' last hours before being stabbed and killed. Joseph Woodall, best known for their Twitch channel named GrubTruckers, was Livestreaming their customers and business through their food truck.

On 13th November 2022 at 1:41 AM, Mogen and Goncalves were seen ordering $10 worth of carbonara and waiting ten minutes for their food. Both individuals didn't seem scared or in danger during the Livestream and were otherwise enjoying the night, chatting with each other. Woodall told CNN that the two individuals "didn't seem in distress" in any way.

Until now, the case remains a mystery. Despite two roommates who'd been at home when the homicides happened, there wasn't any 911 call until noon on Sunday, even though the murders occurred much earlier than that. Fry also noted that there was no threat to the public, and evidence led investigators to believe this was a “targeted attack.” 

The GrubTruckers Twitch Livestream offers a helpful timeline of Mogen and Goncalves' final hours before being murdered, especially with four people dead and no leads. As of writing, the Moscow Police Department is still investigating the incident, and with no suspect, murder weapon, or additional information, the case remains wide open.
