TSM sign Pokelawls and announce it with hilarious video

It’s hard to find a streamer more popular and prominent than Pokelawls. He has more than 678,000 followers on Twitch and more than 250,000 subscribers on YouTube, and his viewership is still growing. That’s because he is hilarious and entertaining in all the right ways. 

For that reason, it’s not surprising that TSM, one of the biggest esports organisations in the world, has signed him to their brand. But the best part is, they announced in style with a hilarious video. Here’s a little sneak peek they posted on Twitter.

And the dubs just keep rolling in.

The full video is even better, and it’s definitely worth a watch. In the opening sequence, Pokelawls is surprised to find himself literally teleported into an Overwatch game. It’s a natural place to start since it’s one of his most streamed games. Once inside, he assumes control of Genji wreaks havoc in his trademark comedic style. 

He then makes a short stop into the twisted world of VR Chat, where he chats with a character who resembles Morpheus from The Matrix, and meets other strange entities including a demon man and an anime girl.

Shortly after, he steps into a portal and finds himself in the Grand Theft Auto universe, which is another game he has streamed quite frequently in the last couple of years. After a brief car chase, he drives off a cliff and enters another portal.

He looks around for a moment, dazed and confused. Then, a TSM logo appears before him and flashes on the screen to the sound of divine music. An emotional and overwhelmed Pokelawls then succumbs to its almighty presence and opens himself up to it with his hands raised in the air.

In the next shot, he’s suddenly wearing a TSM Jersey, and he proceeds to chant the organization’s name. It was the perfect way for TSM to announce their acquisition. But it also stayed true to the unique Pokelawls humour we know and love.

The deal between Pokelawls and TSM will undoubtedly benefit both parties involved, and it seems like Pokelawls agrees. “Being a part of TSM will only be great for me and them,” he said.
