Old Dark Souls II And Armored Core V Servers Shut Down March 2024

Dark Souls and Armored Core are two game series that has been around for a long time. They are both made by FromSoftware and have been highly regarded by fans all over the world.

Armored Core 5 and Dark Souls 2 are both currently available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Both games have online services that players have access to. In a recent announcement, we got news that servers for both Dark Souls 2 and Armored Core 5 are going to shut down.

In a recent announcement, FromSoftware has said that both Dark Souls 2 and Armored Core 5 servers will be shutting down. More specifically, only the servers that are for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be shutting down due to server deterioration.

For Dark Souls 2, that means PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC servers will remain live. Armored Core 5 though is only available on PS3 and Xbox 360. So while some Dark Souls 2 servers will remain, the Armored Core 5 servers will all shut down. The shutdown will happen on March 31, 2024.
