Sonic Prime Is Getting New Episodes In July

Get ready to go fast in July of this year, as more episodes of Sonic Prime come to Netflix.

Sonic Prime is a Netflix-exclusive Sonic series that had the first eight episodes of the show arrive on December 15, 2022.

We don't know how many episodes are going to be added to Netflix with the second batch, but we do know from the animation studio that the season is 24 episodes strong, so it's possible that we may be receiving another eight episodes in this batch before a final batch of episodes drops later this year. 

This is only one of two Sonic TV series currently active, with a live-action Knuckles series also currently in development at Paramount, which will star Idris Elba and be a spin-off of the live-action Sonic The Hedgehog movies. 

Alongside the TV series, there's also a third Sonic the Hedgehog movie slated for release next year that will follow-up on the post-credit scene of the second movie, that being the emergence of Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic's dark analog.
