Creatures in ARK Survival Ascended fall into three categories: carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Each category requires a specific approach to feeding and healing. Carnivores, in particular, should be a primary focus for many players due to their offensive nature, but this also means they sustain considerable damage when on the front lines.

Fortunately, there's a quick way to replenish your carnivores' health and have them back in action as your primary attackers. So, to aid you, this guide will walk you through the process of rapidly healing your carnivores while playing ARK Survival Ascended.

How To Quickly Heal Your Carnivores in ARK Survival Ascended

If you find yourself in a scenario where your carnivorous tame, such as a T-Rex or Yutyrannus, is low on health, you'd normally need to wait until they passively heal over time. Thankfully, however, there is a faster strategy that you can use that will heal them much faster, and that is with the use of raw meat.

To perform this trick, simply stack raw meat (or any meat you have; the higher the quality, the better) into your dino's inventory. Then, just right-click (spam) on the meat in their inventory repeatedly to force-feed them and recover their health.

This method does involve some repeated or spamming button clicks, so if you're on PC, you can program a macro to do this for you or hold down the feed button (Y/Triangle) on the controller. But you can also move your mouse around in a figure-8 and spam clicks to get it going faster.

Each time you force-feed the dino a piece of meat (in this case, Raw Meat), the dino will regain 5 health points each time. This might not seem like much, but when considering the spam, as well as the fact that some dinos might not have massive health pools, it can serve your healing purposes quite well.
