Starting in November 2022, Dead by Daylight started hosting monthly Community Cups. These tournaments pay homage to the competitive side of the community, offering players an official way to show off their skills as a team and take down other players. Because Dead by Daylight does not have a built-in ranked mode, these tournaments give players a way to compete regardless.
If you want to join in on the Dead by Daylight Community Cups for yourself, it is thankfully easy, and anyone can join so long as they have a few friends to bring with them into The Fog. That said, let's go over everything you and your teammates need to know about this exciting monthly tournament.
March 13th 2023 - We've updated this article with all of the latest news and information surrounding Dead by Daylight's Community Cups!
Behaviour Interactive announced that their 11th February Community Cup - along with those after it - would undergo a bit of an overhaul, featuring new rules, new win conditions, and a refreshed pool of maps and killers.
Here's a look at the changes:
- Hook States are now each game's primary win condition.
- At least one killer and survivor from each team must record the match to ensure the match's integrity.
- New map and killer pools have been created, allowing players to pick from a preset pool of killers each round.
- Players who regularly have bad ping (showing as a red bar on the HUD in-game) will no longer be able to participate.
