: The world's biggest LAN event will be expanding its footprint in America next year as it adds two new events to 2017. DreamHack 2017 will be hosting an event at Austin - where it is returning after its first US event this year - as well as new locations Atlanta and Denver. DreamHack Austin will take place on the weekend of 28-30 April 2017, DreamHack Atlanta will then take place between 21-23 July while DreamHack Denver will run through 20-22 October. Tickets are available now for the Austin event, while Atlanta's tickets go on sale on the 21 September and Denver's will be available on 5 October 2016. The events have yet to be detailed so it's not clear how big a show Atlanta and Denver will be, but it's safe to assume it might match this year's Austin event, with games across the spectrum of eSports: Street Fighter 5, CS:GO, Hearthstone, Heroes Of The Storm and StarCraft 2. Both professional and amateur gamers will be able to compete in tournaments across each of the weekends, while no doubt extra events will be hosted as part of the long-weekend of LAN gaming. DreamHack is typically a European event, beginning first in Sweden before branching out to other new locations throughout the continent. This year's DreamHack Austin was the first time the event had been hosted in the US. More details on the DH official page.
