A new batch of Fortnite Seasonal quests called 'Into the Wild' has arrived, and players have been asked to hunt a frog from five meters or less this week. The quest rewards players with 16,000 XP, which will help them unlock rewards from this season's battle pass.
Although the challenge is pretty easy to complete, many players are having a hard time finding the frog in the game. With that in mind, here's a comprehensive guide to finding and hunting frogs from five meters or less in Fortnite.
Where To Find Frogs in Fortnite
Frogs are commonly found around waterbodies in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. So your best bet to locate a frog in Fortnite is by dropping at the places like river bank near The Citadel, Lute Lake near Faulty Splits, the tiny pond near the Frenzy Fields, or the Autumnwood River right next to the Anvil Square.
Apart from this, you should also keep an eye out for frogs when exploring the mysterious forests of Fortnite. However, we highly recommend sticking to the water bodies method as it's relatively easy to locate frogs there rather than in the tall grass and bushes in the forest.
How to Hunt a Frog From 5 Meters or Less in Fortnite
As the quest name suggests, you have to stand within a distance of five meters or less and hunt down a frog to accomplish this task. After finding a frog, simply stand close to it and use any weapon to take it down. However, we recommend close-range weapons like Twin Mag SMG or Thunder Shotgun for this seasonal challenge to hunt the frog quickly before the critter runs away.
After that, the challenge will be marked as completed, and you'll receive 16,000 level-up XP for your efforts.
