There have been a lot of top-notch games that have released in 2023 and that's not stopping anytime soon. We are getting closer and closer to the official release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 which is a game that has been highly anticipated for quite some time. With Spider-Man 2 only coming to the PlayStation 5 for now, players are asking questions about the upcoming release.

For example, there are a lot of people who are asking if Spider-Man 2 is going to be a co-op game, whether will it launch on other platforms, and more. Slowly but surely, we are getting the answers to these questions. Most recently, we have gotten the answer on how big the file size is for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

The PS5 has a lot of storage space but that can get eaten up very quickly. There are a lot of large games in terms of file size and Spider-Man 2 is nearly at the top of that list. In a recent leak from @SpiderManCD on Twitter, they posted a picture of the Special Edition Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 and its box.

Although the text on the box is a bit small and blurry, the poster has confirmed that the box says that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be 98 GB. That makes it bigger than Final Fantasy 16 which was 91.1 GB. The biggest game on the PS5 right now is Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War at 175 GB. There are only six games requiring over 100 GB in space on the PS5 right now.

One thing that this storage size tells us is that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will likely be much longer than the original Spider-Man game, which had a file size of 45 GB. With that in mind, the game was about 20 hours long. The reason for the larger size and smaller length is due to the fact that Marvel's Spider-Man is an open-world game.

Open-world games tend to be bigger in file size because of the fact that it is filled with content for players to explore. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is promising to be much bigger and longer than the original game. It probably will not be double the length but Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will definitely be longer than the original game.
