If you're on PC, you can just purchase the game from Steam and download it; but how do you play Phasmophobia on a Mac device? Is it even possible to play Phasmophobia on a Mac if you don't own a PC?

While Phasmophobia was designed to be played on PC on Steam, players have still found ways to play the game on Mac. Phasmophobia will run on Mac through an emulator, but many players report facing performance problems. Therefore, while there are ways to make Phasmophobia work on your Mac, you can't expect the game to run as reliably as it does on PC. Emulators are a great way to play new games you wouldn't otherwise be able to try, but they aren't always fast.

If you want to play Phasmophobia on Mac, you can't take the traditional route of downloading the game from Steam and revving it up. Instead, you'll need to emulate a PC on your Mac. Emulating the Windows OS on your Mac will allow you to access and play games that are only available on PC, including but not limited to Phasmophobia!

The most popular PC emulator for Mac is called Boot Camp. You can download Boot Camp, or a different PC emulator for your Mac, by Googling it and simply downloading it from the provider's website. Once you download the emulator, head to Steam and buy the game - it's usually $13.99, though the price sometimes fluctuates and will go up after the end of the Early Access period.
