The Pokemon series has changed quite a bit in the past few years. The most recent mainline Pokemon games are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. With these two releasing in 2022, it took nearly a year for The Teal Mask DLC to launch for these two games. Now that the DLC is finally out, there is a lot to go over in Scarlet and Violet.

For example, there are new Pokemon that have never been seen before in Scarlet and Violet. There are also Pokemon who are making a comeback as well. Not only that but there are plenty of new and returning items as well. Here, we will go over one of the new items called the Teal Style Card which is very useful if you are interested in the cosmetics of the game.

In the new Teal Mask DLC for Scarlet and Violet, on top of all the additional content that is in the game, there is also a new storyline for players to follow. Following the storyline will get players a lot of new Pokemon and a lot of new items. Once players have progressed in the story enough, there will be a festival that will happen in Kitakami.

In this festival, the player will change into a completely new outfit and new hairstyle. Players will eventually meet the grandparents of Kieran and they will give the players the Teal Style Card. So there is no special barrier that players need to go over. Just play through the story and the Teal Style Card will be given to players.

Interestingly enough, the Teal Style Card does nothing in Kitakami. Players will have to travel back to Paldea because the Teal Style Card is for salons only. Salons are not available in Kitakami, but the Teal Style Card can be immediately used once players are back in Paldea. Once players are in a Salon, a new special catalog will be unlocked.

In this catalog, a variety of new hairstyles will be unlocked for the players. It does not matter which gender the player is as all hairstyles are available for both males and females. It is also easy to spot which are the new hairstyles as well. The new Teal Style hairstyles are on the bottom and they are marked with sparkles as they are new. There are no new hair colors that have been added to the Teal Style Card.
