The year is coming to a close and it's time to start looking ahead to 2022. The streaming industry is ever-growing and Twitch has absolutely exploded in recent years as one of the top media platforms in the entire world.

Offering something for everyone to tune into, both experienced players and novice, well-known celebrities and up and coming stars, Twitch is the most popular live streaming platform for a reason. And it isn't just gaming... the IRL chat section is regularly one of the busiest and chat shows, ASMR, and even fishing all have a place on the platform.

Looking to 2022, the landscape is looking interesting for the new year, and there are a number of streamers who have now reached the top tier of Twitch status.

Home to millions of streamers around the world, Twitch has so many categories to enjoy. There are seasoned professional esports players engaging in competitive gameplay, as well as streamers who just come online to chat with their audience.

This list will include ten of the top Twitch streamers for you to watch in 2022.

  • NICKMERCS - 6.3 million Followers

The co-owner of FaZe Clan is one of the top streamers on all of Twitch with a massive following of over 6 million. A former MLG National Champion, NICKMERCS is a self-described gym rat, who streams mostly Competitive Shooters like Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Halo.

  • Pokimane - 8.5 million followers

Another of the top streamers on the entire platform, Pokimane has a massive fanbase thanks in part to her wide range of streams. She streams Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, and also does 'Just Chatting' broadcasts as well. Pokimane also has her own merchandise brand and was invited to stream at the Teen Choice Awards in 2018.

His following flew up the charts in 2020 and he's now one of the more recognizable streamers on the platform. He plays a variety of games and also has streams to simply interact with his fans.

Believe it or not, TimTheTatMan has been streaming since 2012 and now has grown his following all the way to over 7 million Twitch followers. He's a full-time streamer based in the USA and is well-known for including his wife in his streams. TimTheTatMan also inked a lucrative sponsorship deal with Monster Energy Drink back in 2016.

Originally gaining massive popularity for his Fortnite streams, Myth is now a 22-year-old FPS variety streamer, recently dipping into the Halo Infinite world. Though his roots are with Fortnite, and he even acknowledges as much in his Twitch page bio. Myth boasts some impressive sponsorship deals as well with both Chevy and Logitech.

One of the more controversial Twitch streamers, loltyler1 is certainly talented. In 2014 he was ranked as the 13th best League of Legends player in the world and still regularly streams the title. Unfortunately, his streaming career has been marred with controversy after past toxic behavior has led to several of his accounts being banned.

Skykunno also spent a brief time living in Los Angeles, California at the Offline TV house with other popular streamers like Pokimane.
