Today is a big day for Valorant fans, one that players were eagerly waiting to come.
Patch 1.10 is now live and it brings with it a lot of new content.
A brand new map, Icebox, is entering the map pool, deathmatch and ranked are getting changes, Battle Pass Act 3 is live with a plethora of new skins, and you can now select your preferred server!

Those are only some of the new things coming with Act III, and you can check full Valorant v1.10 patch notes here.
Besides these things that are official, new patches always bring with them some undisclosed secrets hidden beneath the surface and left in the game files, for data miners to unearth them and speculate about.
Probably the most interesting thing found in Valorant v1.10 files is a mention of a new game mode, called Snowball.
Currently, there is not much to say about it.
As you can see in the tweet above, Twitter user Valorant Leaks stumbled upon interesting lines of code within the files of a new patch.
Other than mentioning a new mode called "Snowball", we can see the words Bouncy, Growball, RapidFire, and Skates, which all might be gameplay elements of this new mode, since they are paired with "GameplayTagList".

What can this be? Is it a completely new mode that will soon be introduced, or maybe some preparation for the Christmas/Winter event that will come to Valorant sometime in December?
For now, this is all just a speculation based on a few lines of code, but it does look interesting and it's the first mention of a new game mode in Valorant ever, so it is definitely something to keep an eye on in the near future.
