Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy announced for PS5

After being leaked months ago, Harry Potter RPG title Hogwarts Legacy has been officially announced for PlayStation 5. 

Announced during Sony’s PS5 showcase, the game will see you create your own character in the wizarding world to brew potions, tame beasts and master spells. 

You’ll also go beyond the realms of Hogwarts too, although how far you’ll be able to venture, and if it’ll include Hogsmeade, was unclear.

An official description reads: “Experience a new story set at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart.

“Make allies, battle dark wizards, and decide the fate of the wizarding world.’

Hogwarts Legacy releases on PlayStation 5 in 2021.
