Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart announced for PS5

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has been announced for PlayStation 5. 

Insomniac Games revealed the latest entry in the franchise during Sony’s PlayStation 5 event, confirming it’ll be a next-gen instalment. 

The game showed Ratchet travelling through multiple dimensions, while also showing a mysterious Lombax who appears to be an alternative version of Ratchet.

The most striking part of the trailer is the visuals, with the title potentially looking like one of the best looking titles on the console. 

The last Ratchet and Clank title was a remake of the first title back in 2016, but this marks a brand new entry in the series. 

No release date was given for the title, so it’ll likely be a 2021 release.
