Red Bull Wololo IV AoE 2: Schedule, qualifiers, players, format, and how to watch

The famous Red Bull Wololo AoE 2 tournament is back with its 4th edition!

Red Bull Wololo IV brings the best Age of Empires II Definitive Edition players from all around the world to showcase their skills in this legendary strategy game.

The new season will see the top eight players from the last iteration of the tournament fighting against the best players from the open qualifiers.

In total, 16 world-class competitors will measure their skills in an epic final event.

If you are a fan of real-time strategies, and especially of classics such as Age of Empires 2, then you already know that this event is something that you must not miss!

Here are all the details about the event.

Red Bull Wololo IV Schedule: Qualifiers & the main event

There will be two qualifying tournaments first, and then the main event which starts on the 19th of June and lasts until 27th June.

• Qualifiers
  • Qualifier 1: Saturday, 29th May - Sunday, 30th May
  • Qualifier 2: Saturday, 6th June -  Sunday, 7th June
• Main Event
  • Finals Group Stage: Saturday, 19th June - Sunday, 20th June
  • Finals Group Stage: Friday, 25th June
  • Playoffs: Saturday, 26th June
  • Final: Sunday, 27th June

Red Bull Wololo IV format

• Each game starts in the Feudal Age
• Custom 1v1 battles in the game mode Empire Wars
• Red Bull Wololo IV is a Nordic-themed event
• In each event, players fight over a castle that has a library containing knowledge required for world domination
• The open qualifiers will take place over two weekends
