Warhammer has released a teaser for something, likely the 10th Edition, which we anticipate will be revealed in a couple of weeks at Adepticon.
Whilst the main trailer might show a Space Marine Terminator in the eye of some sort of Tyrnaid, as noted by spikeybits, it's actually the Warhammer 40K logo that has caught some fans attention.
If you look closer you'll notice that the scarlet coloured stripe is missing, which was a feature of the 9th Edition. So could this be the clearest indication yet that the team are preparing to unveil the 10th Edition. Stay tuned for more clues in the coming weeks.
Whilst there's no 'new' news or leaks, we did think this was an interesting perspective to share as we look ahead to the 40k 10th Edition.
YouTuber Auspex Tactics has pulled together a new video looking at universal special rules and whether there's room for them to return in the new edition.

As per Spikeybits.com, it appears as though a 10th edition playtester has spilled the beans over some potential simplified rule changes.
Of course, take this with a pinch of salt until we get full confirmation.
Warhammer insider Valrak has weighed in on the latest rumors on the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition.
The video itself touches on its potential release date, the rules we may see, and also a little bit about the rumoured reset for the book, too.

Warhammer 40k 10th Edition Release Date Speculation
An official release date for Warhammer 40k 10th Edition has yet to be released. However, a Redditor Jangsai_Khan posted some supposedly leaked information about the upcoming manual, including a release date and gameplay mechanics, on the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours.
According to the leaks, the reveal of Warhammer 40k 10th Edition will be on 28th June 2023. "All GW employees were told no vacation time during that week," the Redditor explained as their reasoning for the anticipated release date. The post did not provide a source.
With a reveal on 28th June, it's likely that the new edition of the game would release sometime this year.
Speculative Warhammer 40k 10th Edition Changes
In the Reddit post, the leaker also mentioned a number of changes that will come to the 10th Edition of Warhammer, saying that the game will "strip back the rules." To cut back on bloat and reduce power creep, factions will now share most Stratagems.
The Redditor also mentioned that the game is "trying to be more casual" in its 10th Edition, meaning that they are unsure whether armor facings, firing arcs, and certain other features might return at this time.
That's all we know right now about the upcoming Warhammer 40k 10th Edition, including its potential release date and the content that might be included. Keep an eye out here for more guides, tips, news, and leaks as the game's release date grows closer!
