Not thanks to the gameplay side of things, which has always maintained a strong following, but rather due to streamers jumping on the pack opening and auctioning of rarer Pok&eacute;mon TCG cards.<\/p>\n<p>From Twitch personalities like Trainwreckstv and Mizkif to YouTube sensations Logan Paul or PewDiePie, Pok&eacute;mon TCG unboxings have become a great source of content for all sorts of creators.<\/p>\n<p>In said packs you can find a plethora of Pok&eacute;mon with different versions printed &#8212; of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/trainwreck-unboxes-dark-charizard-holo-1st-edition-pokemon-card-during-stream\">rare 1st Edition Pok&eacute;mon TCG<\/a> cards are expensive and highly sought after from collectors, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/logan-paul-buys-pokemon-charizard-card\">can sell for thousands of dollars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/_EolKGOssf-XXqV5VztG8jhFKjnAMJI-uh43tnVQJDs\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzFzdF9lZGl0aW9uX2NoYXJpemFyZC5wbmc\" alt=\"charizard 1stedition\" width=\"600\" height=\"1008\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">1est edition cards are very rare and often worth a ton of money (Picture: The Pok&eacute;mon Company)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>One Pok&eacute;mon that&#8217;s been absent for almost two decades from the card game is Kadabra, the middle evolution in Abra&#8217;s path to becoming Alakazam.<\/p>\n<p>The reason? Illusionist Uri Geller prevented The Pok&eacute;mon Company from printing any, as he didn&#8217;t agree to his resemblance being used for commercial purposes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kadabra, originally named Yungerer in Japan, was clearly taking inspiration from the famous Geller, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/kadabra-pokemon-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who decided to sue Nintend<\/a>o, preventing them from using the Pok&eacute;mon in the TCG moving forward.
