December is here and that means that the very first Black Ops Cold War Season is just around the corner, which begins on 10th December.

Fans are eager to find out about everything that will come, from new maps and weapons to Battle Pass content and of course, integration of Warzone and Cold War, which will bring a mysterious new map for the Battle Royale title.

And while Activision and Treyarch are giving us small teasers about what can we expect in Season 1, the real work is being done by data miners, who are digging through the game files and picking up interesting details that can tell us more about the upcoming content.

Dataminers have already shared info about Battle Pass XP Tokens and revealed first skins and other cosmetics that will come with the first season.

With the new leaks, the first details about new game modes and new Zombies map are here, as well as another proof that Alcatraz will be a new Warzone map.

A renowned Call of Duty leaker and data miner CODColdWarNewz has found a few clues on what could next game modes be.

According to him, Season 1 will feature not one, but two new modes of play.

The first new mode is the one featured on the image of the content roadmap for Black Ops Cold War Season One.

He explains that the name of the mode is “Dropkick“.

The objective in this mode is to gain access to launch codes for nukes and hold the other objective, which is probably the launch site. If someone manages to gain access to codes and active the nuke, that team will “deploy a powerful nuke and declare victory.”

An interesting detail is that the player who’s carrying the objective (launch codes) will be limited to only pistols, which will make things much harder for them.

But this is not the only info he has found about the new modes. There’s also an audio file which mentions “Harcore Barebones team deathmatch”.

🚨FAN FAVOURITE ‘BareBones’ GAMEMODE COMING TO #BlackOpsColdWar! pic.twitter.com/1tK38AoBLN

— Call of Duty Leaks (@CODColdWarNewz) November 30, 2020

Barebones is an old mode first featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops, and has made its return in Black Ops 4.

And it seems that it might find its way to Black Ops Cold War as well.

As the name suggests, in Black Ops 4 this was a mode without specialists and Operator Mods, and no gear available as well.

If this mode is indeed coming to Black Ops Cold War, we might expect to see something similar, with restrictions adjusted to suit Black Ops Cold War.

The audio file clearly indicates the return of this mode, but we might not see it in Season 1, but instead in later seasons, while Dropkick will come with Season 1.

As you probably know, with the start of Season 1, Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will merge, and this integration will bring a lot of new content for the battle royale mode.

The most exciting new content is most surely a new Warzone map, which was teased by Activision, and fans are speculating since then which map that might be.

Alcatraz is the most obvious candidate for many, especially with the map already being in COD: Mobile as a battle royale map.

And the latest leaks are further strengthening the theory that Alcatraz will most likely be the next Warzone map.

The leaker has shared Alcatraz Calling Cards and Nuke Event Coloured Icon.

While none of this implies directly what new Warzone map will be, this is the first mentioning of Alcatraz in the files, and for many, this means that Alcatraz is all but confirmed as a new Warzone map.

The leaker has also revealed new information about potential new Zombies maps that will come in the upcoming months.

Back in September, before the zombies were even officially introduced, YouTuber TheGamingRevolution shared information about potential Zombies maps, and one of that map was named Firebase Z, with little other information about it.

🚨BREAKING: NEXT POTENTIAL ZOMBIES MAP REVEALED – Vietnam #BlackOpsColdWar

This is from datamined intel.
