Bungie released their latest Dev Update this Tuesday 8th December confirming that cross platform play will be possible for Destiny 2 sometime in 2021. The update also touches on concerns regarding the power ecosystem and the plans to grow it, making previous one-time available weapons still earnable in-game.

Cross-play comes in Year 4 of Destiny 2, but with no specific window for its release, we can expect it dropping in the summer, or even winter of 2021.
