{"id":10985,"date":"2020-12-16T00:15:31","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T00:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/fortnite-s-new-spy-within-ltm-is-an-among-us-clone"},"modified":"2024-07-19T15:51:07","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T15:51:07","slug":"fortnite-s-new-spy-within-ltm-is-an-among-us-clone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-s-new-spy-within-ltm-is-an-among-us-clone","title":{"rendered":"Fortnite&#8217;s new Spy Within LTM is an Among Us clone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fortnite continues to expand not only with incredible crossover characters after recently introducing Star Wars&#8217; The Mandalorian, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/god-of-war-s-katros-smashes-into-fortnite-item-shop\">God of War&#8217;s Kratos<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-master-chief-how-to-get-unlock-matte-black-style\">Halo&#8217;s Master Chief<\/a> as part of Chapter 2 Season 5, but by innovating in the gameplay department via community created modes, this time featuring the Spy Within LTM, an amazingly designed Among Us clone.<\/p>\n<p>Among Us, the social deduction game where a determined number of players tries to figure who among them is a cold-blooded killer trying to sabotage their journey through space, took the gaming industry by storm in 2020, even earning home some honors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/the-last-of-us-part-2-wins-goty-at-the-game-awards-2020\">during The Game Awards<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With its popularity skyrocketing, Fortnite community members DolphinDom, KKSlider, Bunni_, Wert, Blanky, jstKamui, MackJack, Ritual and Snownymous designed a mode that plays in a similar fashion to Among Us, being highlighted by Epic Games by adding a unique LTM playlist to the game.<\/p>\n<h2>Fortnite The Spy Within &#8211; How to play<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/9w-QGjHSpxP2FbbFclrnVeudqKiRWfP1BCmDliiS0XI\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL3NweV93aGl0bmkuanBn\" alt=\"Fortnite The Spy Within\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: Epic Games)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here is the basic premise of The Spy Within LTM mode:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Everyone starts a match only knowing which team they are on. The identity of all other players is hidden.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two players &#8212; known as The Spies &#8212; will try to eliminate other players without revealing their identity. They must do so before the crew completes their objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Eight players &#8212; known as The Agents &#8212; will work together to identify spies and vote them out before the spies eliminate all other players. The Agents must gather gold coins &#8212; earned by completing objectives &#8212; to win.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Players cannot speak to one another in voice chat unless they are in a Meeting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Players can call Meetings whenever they spot a character or are suspicious of another player. Players can now talk and discuss who they are suspicious of. They can choose to vote someone out, which eliminates them.
