We are nearing the half-way point in the season, and even leagues that traditionally have a winter break have more games than usual in this period due to the pandemic squeezing some of the available time.<\/p>\n

One upside is that means more football and more Team of the Weeks, and yes more IF cards to unpack. <\/p>\n

This weekend of football had some spectacular games, Liverpool’s 7-0 thumping of Crystal Palace saw both Firmino<\/strong> and Salah<\/strong> bag two goals and an assist, a performance that earned them both a place in our TOTW.<\/p>\n

At the other end of the pitch, there were similarly impressive performances, Valencia’s Jaume Doménech<\/strong> saved a penalty to earn his side a point against Barcelona, while Gianluigi Buffon<\/strong> turned back the years as Juventus shut out Parma on the way to a 4-0 win.<\/p>\n

Manchester United had a good game this weekend dismantling a quality Leeds United side 6-2 with Scott McTominay<\/strong> grabbing a double in the opening three minutes, with an assist later down the line.<\/p>\n
