Developer Epic Games has revealed their initial plans for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-season-5-update-v15-00-patch-notes-release-time-new-map-leaks-and-more\">Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5<\/a> in 2021, which includes this year&#8217;s FNCS start date, and a whole lot of tournaments for players to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Fortnite players can look forward to Season 5 competitive Cash Cups, a new Bragging Rights tournament series, as well as Limited-Time Mode (LTM) tournaments throughout the season.<\/p>\n<h2>FNCS 2021 start date<\/h2>\n<p>Let&#8217;s kick things off with the start date of the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) for 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epicgames.com\/fortnite\/competitive\/en-US\/news\/bragging-rights-ltms-and-cash-prizes-in-fortnite-competitive-chapter-2-season-5?s=09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a new post from Epic Games<\/a>, the developer revealed the start date for the FNCS in 2021 to be 4th February 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Epic Games will reveal more details in &#8220;a couple of weeks&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>Fortnite Bragging Rights tournaments<\/h2>\n<p>Fortnite Competitive will be hosting a brand-new, in-game tournament series most Friday nights during Season 5. This is a Trios tournament series.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament series is called Bragging Rights and will be split into PC, Console, and Mobile platforms. These cups will be open to all platform and will be a cross-platform affair.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, Epic Games have not revealed additional details on the Fortnite Season 5 Cash Cups, just mentioning these will be similar to Contender Cups from the previous season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>New LTM tournaments in Fortnite<\/h2>\n<p>A new competitive season of Fortnite wouldn&#8217;t be complete without some LTM tournaments. These will work similarly to Wild Wednesday&#8217;s from Season 4. However, they will take place on alternating Mondays.<\/p>\n<p>Epic Games plans to have a mixture of formats and modes for these LTM tournaments throughout the season.
