For some, it appeared as if METZY_B was using an aimbot.<\/p>\n<p>Now, it appears METZY has been cleared of cheating in the Twitch Rivals: Doritos Bowl tournament, at least by 100 Thieves&#8217; Thomas &ldquo;Tommey&rdquo; Trewren.<\/p>\n<h2>Tommey recants METZY cheating accusation<\/h2>\n<p>While resident cheater hunter Tommey didn&#8217;t directly get METZY kicked, his public declarations after reviewing the clips certainly didn&#8217;t help.<\/p>\n<p>METZY was disqualified and in the hours after he attempted to clear his name by live streaming a rather rudimentary search for cheats on his computer. Later Tommey joined METZY on stream and was given remote access where the former failed to find any evidence of hacks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/gFPLp1bdbovADjrzNgUbrqC94-Bu9BxxOMG4DMLBC4Q\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL1RvbW1leVdhcnpvbmVNYWluLmpwZz9fdD0xNjExMzEzODgy\" alt=\"Metzy tommey accusations cheating apologizes warzone twitch rivals\" width=\"600\" height=\"392\" loading=\"lazy\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: Twitter)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tommey\/status\/1352526869204246529\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Taking to Twitter<\/a> on 22nd January, Tommey admitted they were wrong to accuse METZY_B of cheating.<\/p>\n<p>Tommey explained: &#8220;Fully understand the hate I&rsquo;m receiving and it&rsquo;s deserved.
