{"id":11897,"date":"2021-01-23T00:35:44","date_gmt":"2021-01-23T00:35:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/cyberpunk-2077-v1-1-patch-notes-stability-improvements-performance-optimization-quests-fixes-more"},"modified":"2024-07-19T09:27:06","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T09:27:06","slug":"cyberpunk-2077-v1-1-patch-notes-stability-improvements-performance-optimization-quests-fixes-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-v1-1-patch-notes-stability-improvements-performance-optimization-quests-fixes-more","title":{"rendered":"Cyberpunk 2077 v1.1 patch notes: stability improvements, performance optimization, quests fixes, more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CD Projekt RED has just released Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1, the first of two promised updates that are aiming to fix the most urgent issues with the game.<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s exactly what can you expect to see with this update.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest focus of the patch is &#8220;on various stability improvements&#8221; which means that developers are trying to fix the poor state of the game, mainly on the consoles, but on PC as well.<\/p>\n<p>The patch implements memory usage improvements across various aspects of the game, which should result in better optimisation and more stability.<\/p>\n<p>It also tackles with various crashing issues, and after this update, players should experience significantly less crashes while playing the game.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/2XpEMUNZG68rMBuP2Nb7o28KUkyHw5W1iWMnzgW_41c\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05ld0ZvbGRlci9DeWJlcnB1bmtfMjA3N191cGRhdGVfMS4xX3BhdGNoX25vdGVzLmpwZw\" alt=\"Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.1 patch notes\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: CD Projekt RED)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The update also brings a list of bug fixes in regards to various quests and characters, which means that the players should occur fewer bugs as well.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-devs-apologize-and-reveal-updates-roadmap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cyberpunk 2077 devs apologize and reveal updates roadmap<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When it comes to saves, 8MB save file limit was already removed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-v1-06-patch-notes-8mb-save-file-limit-removed-crash-fixes-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the 1.06 patch<\/a>, but it seems that now the root of the problem is fixed as well.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, a welcome set of substantial improvements and fixes, and we hope that updates will continue on the regular basis in the upcoming weeks and months.<\/p>\n<h2>Cyberpunk 2077 v1.1 full patch notes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Stability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Various stability improvements including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Memory usage improvements in various systems within the game: characters, interactions, navigation, in-game videos (news, tv, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimap, devices, AI, street traffic, environmental damage system, GPU-related, and more.<\/li>\n<li>Various crash fixes (related to, among others, loading saves, game opening\/closing and Point of No Return).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quests\/Open World<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where calls from Delamain would end immediately and seem like they cannot be picked up in&nbsp;<em>Epistrophy<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where players would not receive calls from Delamain when approaching relevant vehicles in&nbsp;<em>Epistrophy<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the objective could get stuck on &#8220;Answer the call from Mr. Hands&#8221; in&nbsp;<em>M&#8217;ap Tann P&egrave;len<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Judy could teleport underground in&nbsp;<em>Pyramid Song<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where it would be impossible to talk to Zen Master in<em>&nbsp;Poem of The Atoms<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Takemura wouldn&#8217;t call in&nbsp;<em>Down on the Street<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Jackie could disappear in&nbsp;<em>The Pickup<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where it could be impossible to get out of the car in&nbsp;<em>The Beast in Me: The Big Race<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where players could stop receiving calls and messages after moving too far away from&nbsp;<em>A Day In The Life<\/em>&nbsp;area.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where opening the package wouldn&#8217;t update&nbsp;<em>Space Oddity<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Retro-fixed the saves affected by a rare issue where speaking to Judy in<em>&nbsp;Automatic Love<\/em>&nbsp;would be impossible due to an invisible wall. The underlying issue is under investigation.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue that prevented players from collecting the reward in&nbsp;<em>Gig: Freedom of the Press<\/em>. The quest will auto-complete for those who could not collect the reward previously, and the reward will be provided automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where Delamain would remain silent throughout&nbsp;<em>Epistrophy&nbsp;<\/em>if the player initially refused to help him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UI<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where prompt for exiting braindance could be missing.<\/li>\n<li>Removed an invalid item from loot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Visual<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where a grenade&#8217;s trajectory could be displayed in photo mode.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed particles&#8217; hue appearing pink when viewed close up.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed cars spawning incorrectly in&nbsp;<em>Reported Crime: Welcome to Night City<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Achievements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where completing one of theassaults in progress in Santo Domingo would sometimes not contribute towards progression for&nbsp;<em>The Jungle<\/em>&nbsp;achievement, preventing its completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addressed the issue responsible for saves getting oversized (related to the modifier indicating if the item is crafted), and trimmed the excess size from already existing saves (note: this won&rsquo;t fix PC save files corrupted before 1.06 update).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where input could stop registering upon opening the weapon wheel and performing an action.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the &#8220;Continue&#8221; button in the Main Menu could load an end game save.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PlayStation-specific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance optimization of crowds on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.<\/li>\n<li>Various crash fixes on PlayStation 4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Xbox-specific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved memory usage for character creation, mirrors, scanning, camera remote control, menus (inventory, map) on Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox One S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PC-specific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It will now be possible to obtain achievements while in Steam offline mode. Note: Offline mode needs to be enabled before starting the game. This change does not work retroactively.<\/li>\n<li>Addressed the game startup crashes related to loading cache on NVIDIA graphics cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stadia-specific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Concert audio should no longer be inaudible in&nbsp;<em>Never Fade Away<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed corrupted textures on several melee weapons.<\/li>\n<li>Tweaked default deadzone settings to be more responsive.
