Sane Trilogy and Tony Hawk&rsquo;s Pro Skater 1 + 2, has merged with Blizzard Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Along with this acquisition, it has been reported that part of this decision is due to Vicarious Visions working on the development of a remaster for one of Blizzard&#8217;s flagship games: Diablo 2.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/IxrrIFC0qCBQVzcPF_WbPuwqUCiwlPIpIVUGRye-Xww\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0dlbnNoaW5fSU1wYWN0L2RpYWJsb19JSV8xLnBuZw\" alt=\"diablo II remaster \" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: Blizzard Entertainment)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-01-22\/blizzard-absorbs-activision-studio-after-dismantling-classic-games-team\">Bloomberg<\/a>, Vicarious Visions has been working with Blizzard since last year on bringing back Diablo 2. A fact that coincides with rumours that emerged in the last few years about a possible Diablo II remaster, noting that it would be released in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>This project was in the hands of Blizzard&#8217;s Team 1, a team known for creating classic game remasters. However, its latest title, Warcraft III: Reforged, hasn&rsquo;t been well received by the gaming community.
