{"id":12071,"date":"2021-01-28T14:19:25","date_gmt":"2021-01-28T14:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/cyberpunk-2077-hotfix-1-11-fixes-takemura-bug"},"modified":"2024-07-19T09:41:40","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T09:41:40","slug":"cyberpunk-2077-hotfix-1-11-fixes-takemura-bug","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-hotfix-1-11-fixes-takemura-bug","title":{"rendered":"Cyberpunk 2077 hotfix 1.11 fixes Takemura bug"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The situation with Cyberpunk 2077&#8217;s numerous bugs and other issues seems almost comical at this point.<\/p>\n<p>The developers, CD Projekt RED, have released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-v1-1-patch-notes-stability-improvements-performance-optimization-quests-fixes-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the first not-so-huge update<\/a> last week, which was supposed to fix several alarming issues in regards to the game&#8217;s stability and performances, with various improvements and memory optimization.<\/p>\n<p>And although the update did bring some important improvements to the game, it also came with several more new bugs.<\/p>\n<p>While most of these new bugs were annoying but ignorable, the 1.1 update also introduced a game-breaking bug which has made many players&#8217; save files unusable.<\/p>\n<p>We are talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cyberpunk-2077\/cyberpunk-2077-game-breaking-bug-takemura-call\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Takemura call issue.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The v1.1 update was supposed to fix the problem with the &#8220;Down on the Street&#8221; mission, where Takemura wouldn&#8217;t call V.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/HGpLFYSxoMNUtZ-f0Jkb_nD0r6NDjME2g289EBuKAE0\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05ld0ZvbGRlci9jeWJlcnB1bmtfaG90Zml0eF8xLjExLmpwZw\" alt=\"cyberpunk hotfitx 1.11 patch notes\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Picture: CD Projekt RED)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>That part of the problem (him not calling) was indeed fixed, but Takemura would now call V and simply stay completely quiet. Since this is one of the main story missions, it essentially stopped players from progressing further through the main story.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, CD Projekt was relatively quick to react and released a small hotfix which should (hopefully) fix this issue, along with addressing item randomization.<\/p>\n<p>If you had this issue with Takemura, your old save file should now work properly and Takemura will speak his lines when he calls you.<\/p>\n<p>We just hope that there are no new game-breaking bugs, but who knows?<\/p>\n<p>The update is available now on PC, consoles and Stadia.<\/p>\n<h2>Cyberpunk 2077 Hotfix 1.11 patch notes&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>This update addresses two issues that appeared after Patch 1.1:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Item randomization has been restored to the previous state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The save\/load loot exploit will be investigated further.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bug in&nbsp;<em>Down on the Street<\/em>&nbsp;quest has been fixed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The situation with Cyberpunk 2077&#8217;s numerous bugs and other issues seems almost comical at this point.
