From there, he faced a challenge from Enrique &#8220;Maister&#8221; Hernandez Solis, losing one game but closing it out 2-1, before effortlessly beating every opponent that followed in clean 2-0 fashion up.<\/p><p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p><p>The 2-0 streak continued into the Final Singles Bracket, as Ezra &#8220;Samsora&#8221; Morris&#8217; Peach and William &#8220;Glutonny&#8221; Belaid&#8217;s Wario also failed to alter the final score line in their favour.<\/p><p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p><p>Only Tweek and the Pok&Atilde;&copy;mon Trainer he had chosen stood between MkLeo and the trophy in the grand final. While an early 2-0 for Tweek looked promising, MkLeo turned it around and into a 3-2 for himself in the Grand Final.<\/p><p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p><p>The reset that followed seemed to take its toll on Tweek while only boosting MkLeo&#8217;s confidence as a 3-0 earned him the title on his first attempt at an EVO tournament, <a aria-label=\"helping Smash break viewership records (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/smash-ultimate\/smash-ultimate-new-evo-viewership-record\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">helping Smash break viewership records<\/a> for the highest peak viewership in EVO history at over 279,000 viewers.<\/p><p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p><p>While only 18, MkLeo has been competing since 2016 in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. One of his early tournaments, Get On My Level 2016, saw him face the PGR-ranked and widely considered #1 Gonzalo &#8220;ZeRo&#8221; Barrios and take him to five games. MkLeo went on to become the only Wii U player to take the top spot other than ZeRo in PGR V5, the final ranking list of the era.<\/p><p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p><p>Since the release of Super Smash Bros.
