Respawn Entertainment is continually shaking up the meta to ensure players don&rsquo;t use the same legends over and over again.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there are some legends that have remained in one spot of the meta since the game&rsquo;s release over two years ago. However, there are also characters that have both risen and fallen in many players&rsquo; subjective rankings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/apex-legends\/youtube-engineers-build-fully-functional-replica-of-apex-legend-s-fuse-arm\">YouTube engineers build fully-functioning replica of Fuse&#8217;s bionic arm<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today, we&rsquo;ll be compiling our own rankings based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/apex-legends\/apex-legends-season-8-battle-pass-all-tiers-cost-end-date-more\">Season 8 Legend alterations<\/a> and the addition of Fuse to the lineup.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Description of the tiers<\/h3>\n<p>We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/wNMmcu4VQPMnumB-ITr48QgBC0XkXQTpUXzu7Ty5B6Q\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL2xlZ2VuZHNfdGllcm1ha2VyLnBuZw\" alt=\"Apex Legends Season 8 character tier list, what is best legend in Season 8\" width=\"733\" height=\"410\" loading=\"lazy\">(Picture: Tiermaker)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S-Tier:<\/strong> A pick that you can&rsquo;t go wrong with despite what your teammates select.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>A-Tier:<\/strong> Solid all-around choice that will benefit your team more than other Legends.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>B-Tier:<\/strong> Serviceable Legends that can have an impact on a match if used correctly.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>C-Tier: <\/strong>Choices that won&rsquo;t have a large impact in whether your team wins a match or not.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>D-Tier:<\/strong> Should only be picked if you need to complete a challenge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind, this list is a mix of subjective opinion and simple observations from the gameplay in Season 8. Because a Legend is in C or D-Tier doesn&rsquo;t mean you can make them work in-game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Apex Legends Season 8 Legends tier list<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/QSVOpOIYeNORN-seMecpQWuoJFB0H4bE0sp9lpWIiDU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0FwZXhfTGVnZW5kc19TZWFzb25fOF90aWVyX2xpc3QucG5n\" alt=\"Apex Legends Season 8 tier list\" width=\"694\" height=\"462\" loading=\"lazy\">(Picture: Tiermaker)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>S-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wraith:<\/strong> The one constant in Apex Legends is that Wraith is an S-Tier Legend. No matter what Respawn Entertainment does to Wraith&rsquo;s stats or abilities, she will likely always remain at the top of most players&rsquo; rankings. It&rsquo;s hard to beat her abilities, as she can vanish in an instant and provides a huge boost to a team&rsquo;s movement with her ultimate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bloodhound: <\/strong>Since the middle seasons of Apex Legends, Bloodhound has moved their way up the rankings. Respawn buffed their abilities to give the tracker more chances to see enemies in recent seasons, which was enough to move them into S-Tier. Having a Bloodhound on your team is an invaluable tool.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/1i99N9ReaABDq1FLdsYRh89P36liWTab8yjuZgnWN00\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0FwZXhfTGVnZW5kc19TZWFzb25fOC9GVXNlXzEuanBn\" alt=\"Apex Legends tier list, who is the best legend in season 8 apex\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">The game&#8217;s latest Legend makes it into the A-Tier. (Picture: Respawn Entertainment)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fuse:<\/strong> Even though it&rsquo;s only been a couple of days, we&rsquo;re putting Fuse in A-Tier for now. He&rsquo;s the only Legend in the game to possess two damage-dealing abilities, making him an offensive monster. This was demonstrated perfectly in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexlegends\/comments\/lb59bb\/first_game_with_fuse_and_this_happens\/\">Reddit clip<\/a>. Also, his passive ability comes in handy more than once per match, making him a great choice until Respawn inevitably nerfs him. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gibraltar: <\/strong>A constant A-Tier Legend, Gibraltar is the best tank in the game. His Gun and Dome shield are a deadly combination that pair superbly with his ultimate, which was buffed in recent seasons. Also, he takes 15% less damage when shot thanks to his size, which is a tremendous benefit on a map like Kings Canyon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pathfinder: <\/strong>Apex Legends&rsquo; resident robot dropped from S-Tier to A-Tier last season when Respawn nerfed his grapple hook. However, the grapple is still useful enough to warrant Pathfinder&rsquo;s spot in A-Tier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wattson:<\/strong> A defensive nightmare for enemy teams, Wattson can lock down buildings or small areas by herself. She was buffed in Season 7 but her abilities are still situational for the most part, making her just short of moving into S-Tier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lifeline:<\/strong> It&rsquo;s hard to argue against Lifeline being anywhere but A-Tier. Her healing abilities are next to none in Apex Legends but don&rsquo;t change the complexity of a team enough to catapult her into the next tier. Still, whenever your teammate picks Lifeline you celebrate inside.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bangalore:<\/strong> The definition of an average legend, Bangalore&rsquo;s ultimate is still holding her back. Her smoke grenades are extremely useful as a tactical but they&rsquo;re really the only good part of her make-up.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mirage:<\/strong> The clone Legend just can&rsquo;t make his way past B-Tier for most players. Mirage doesn&rsquo;t possess game-changing abilities but Respawn has certainly buffed him enough to warrant his spot in this tier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Loba:<\/strong> Loba is more meant for the individual player more so than team composition. While her Black Market ultimate is helpful for teammates, it&rsquo;s not strong enough to consider her for an upper tier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Caustic:<\/strong> The toxic scientist of Apex Legends, Caustic can certainly be an A-Tier Legend if used correctly. However, many players that pick him don&rsquo;t use his abilities to their fullest potential and instead hinder their teammates instead of the enemies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Horizon:<\/strong> The Season 7 poster Legend, Horizon&rsquo;s abilities can be extremely useful at times. Unfortunately, these abilities are really only beneficial if no enemies have eyes on you. Her Black Hole ultimate is intriguing but too situational.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>C-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Revenant: <\/strong>This killer Legend simply doesn&rsquo;t possess abilities that warrant you picking him in Apex Legends. Death Totem is an average ultimate that can become useless against enemies who understand how to counter it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Crypto:<\/strong> The only reason Crypto is placed in C-Tier is because his Surveillance Drone takes you completely out of the game. If you&rsquo;re playing with a full squad and communicating, then this hacking Legend isn&rsquo;t a bad pick. However, that&rsquo;s not the case for a majority of players.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rampart: <\/strong>If you plan on making use of Rampart&rsquo;s passive, which buffs LMGs, then she could perhaps be a B-Tier legend. However, her mini-gun is extremely loud and the Amped Cover tactical can easily be countered by simply moving to another location.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>D-Tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/TmiAc5xXtDdPWXKZoYz1aP-mSP3W9Ejk7wSopCyigZw\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0FwZXhfTGVnZW5kc19TZWFzb25fOC9vY3RhbmVfYXBleC5qcGc\" alt=\"Octane Legend\" width=\"800\" height=\"381\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">The first Legend in and the last one you want to pick &#8211; it&#8217;s Octane. (Picture: Respawn Entertainment)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Octane:<\/strong> While the speedster of Apex Legends is an entertaining character, his abilities pale in comparison to the others in the game.
