{"id":12536,"date":"2021-02-10T20:48:01","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T20:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/wondamike-and-eunited-part-ways-ahead-of-rlcs-x-spring-split"},"modified":"2024-07-19T07:49:39","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T07:49:39","slug":"wondamike-and-eunited-part-ways-ahead-of-rlcs-x-spring-split","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/wondamike-and-eunited-part-ways-ahead-of-rlcs-x-spring-split","title":{"rendered":"WondaMike and eUnited part ways ahead of RLCS X Spring Split"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">American organisation eUnited announced on 10th February that they will be parting ways with Michael &#8220;WondaMike&#8221; Santoriello effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The announcement was made by Matthew Potthoff, General Manager for eUnited through a video on their official Twitter account.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">eUnited has qualified and played every Regional and Major championship since the start of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/psyonix-announce-revamped-esport-with-year-long-rlcs-x\">revamped RLCS X<\/a> up until recent tiebreaker qualifiers where they fell short of qualifying for the North American Winter Major.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Having played all six Regional events so far and the Fall Major tournament, eUnited has performed poorly, barely scratching Top 8 placements and falling closer to the middle and bottom of the barrel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/calix-leaves-rise-joins-triple-trouble-in-latest-roster-changes\">Calix leaves, rise joins Triple Trouble in latest roster changes<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&ldquo;Unfortunately, we had one of the worst months in eUnited Rocket League history&rdquo;, Matthew Potthoff added.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&ldquo;We decided to mutually part ways so Mike can find a team for the upcoming transfer window.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">General Manager Matthew Potthoff concluded that they will keep their fanbase updated as they are running tryouts for their new third during the following three weeks.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/uB0dGCEXQ_Q66dSEyPk-4emTKSfE_jC_1qC6cTtyhZA\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL21pdGNoL21pc2MuL3Bhc3RlZF9pbWFnZV8wLTMzLnBuZw\" alt=\"wondamike eunited\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" loading=\"lazy\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Image: ShiftRLE)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">WondaMike had played for Absolute Leverage, 2008 Toyota Corolla and with CLT Phoenix as a stand-in.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The 16-year-old joined the roster back in July of 2020 teaming up with Jackson &#8220;ayjacks&#8221; Carter and Tristan &#8220;.tristn&#8221; Roberts achieving some success placing Top 4 in The Grid Winter Week 2 and Beyond The Summit&rsquo;s Rocket League tournament.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">WondaMike immediately announced himself LFT (Looking For Team) through his own Twitter account.
