In this guide, we will be focusing on the AUG latter, which is classified as an SMG. Despite being quite old, the AUG MW is still in the A-Tier in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war\/warzone-season-2-submachine-gun-tier-list-smg-ranked-best-worst\">Warzone Season 2 SMG tier list<\/a>, if you use the best loadout possible.<\/p>\n<h2>Warzone Season 2 AUG SMG: Best loadout<\/h2>\n<p>Using the best loadout for the AUG in Warzone Season 2, the gun can stack up against the likes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war\/best-mp5-cold-war-loadout-warzone-season-2\">MP5 CW<\/a>, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war\/best-mp7-loadout-warzone-season-2\">MP7<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, back in August 2020, the AUG SMG was banned from competitive play for a while for being too powerful. We also went with the Stippled Rear Grip for better ADS time as well as sprint-to-fire speed. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With the entire build, we&#8217;ve increased the accuracy and range of the AUG SMG, so you can compete at longer distances.<\/p>\n<p>The main element of this best AUG SMG loadout for the Modern Warfare version is the 407mm Extended Barrel, which includes effective damage range, recoil control and importantly, bullet velocity.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember this is the AUG SMG from Modern Warfare in Warzone Season 2.
