Only 16 teams all around the globe will be making it to the LAN event.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These are exciting times to be a Rocket League Esports fan and with three more Regionals, one more Major and plenty of RLCS points to give out, here&#8217;s everything you need to know about the RLCS Season X Spring Split.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">RLCS X Spring Split format<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The RLCS X Spring Split will hold a 20-team tournament for each Regional with the following format:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Each Regional Event lasts four days<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Teams are split into four groups of five teams<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Days 0 and 1 are single Round-Robin play (every team will play against each other once)<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Teams that place 5th in their group are eliminated<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">On Day 2, the 16 remaining teams are seeded into the Knockout Gauntlet<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Seeds 1 and 2 are placed into the Upper Bracket while seeds 3 and 4 are placed into the Lower Bracket<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The eight teams that survive qualify for the final single-elimination bracket on Day 3<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Winner of the single-elimination bracket wins the Regional Event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As for the Majors, they will have the same format but with a 10-team tournament (the nine top points earners and one wildcard from RLCS: The Grid), eliminating the Knockout Gauntlet because of participant reduction.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Each Major Tournament lasts two days<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Teams are split into two groups of five teams<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Day 1 is a single Round-Robin play (every team will play against each other once)<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Teams that place 5th in their group are eliminated<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">On Day 2, the eight teams that survive qualify for the final single-elimination bracket<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Winner of the single-elimination bracket wins the Major Tournament<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">RLCS X Spring Split schedule<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The RLCS X Spring Split has the following dates for European and North American Regionals and Major Tournament.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Regional Event #1: March 11, 12, 13, 14 at 8 a.m. PT (4 p.m. UTC; format<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Each team will play three matches each day, over the course of five days<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The top six teams from League Play will advance to The Grid Playoffs<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The Grid Playoffs are a Page Playoff Bracket (similar to the Seasons 7-9 Regional Championship format) played out on a single day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This League Play format will ensure players get rewarded for consistency as well as make it easier for streams to have a cleaner, more structured schedule for fans to follow.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">RLCS X Spring Split: how to watch<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The RLCS X Spring Split will be streamed live on Rocket League official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCBjQwd62OJgixzW49TKGERg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/rocketleague\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitch<\/a> channels.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Because of the number of matches to be played due to the Round-Robin format, Day 0 (which consists of the first three rounds of Round-Robin) will be streamed by the teams themselves.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/musty-goes-pro-nrg-announces-him-as-new-sub-in-major-roster-transition\">Musty goes pro!
