Makes you think: Who was the real pickpocketer there?!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/baldursgate\/baldur-s-gate-3-devs-show-off-game-s-photorealistic-character-creation-system\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baldur&rsquo;s Gate 3 devs show off game&rsquo;s photorealistic character creation system<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember, in order to download the latest update, opt out of all beta branches on Steam, set to auto-update, and you should be delivered the latest version of the game.<\/p>\n<p>For those players who are still experiencing crashes on startup or receiving an error message about .pak files when loading savegames, Larian suggests performing file verification, which should be done like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right-click on Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 in your Steam library<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Select the &#8220;Local Files&#8221; tab<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Verify integrity of game files&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Let Steam do its work, and then restart the Steam client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And that should be it, now your files should be verified and you should no longer get crashes on startup.<\/p>\n<h3>Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 Hotfix 8 full patch notes<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Fixed certain dialogue trigger checkpoints not working or getting stuck. This was related to being in Wild Shape while triggering dialogues.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a possible crash when saving.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash related to a VRAM leak.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash related to PhysX materials.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash when viewing tooltips by hovering over combatants while someone joins or leaves the game.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a rare crash when entering character creation.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a rare crash when an object falls into a chasm.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash related to incorrect or corrupted game files.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a crash related to closing containers if too many were opened by pressing escape quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed empty inventory after pickpocketing a party member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Larian Studios has released the latest update for the Early Access version of Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3.
