On 28th November 2020, a British prisoner at Spring Hill Prison in Buckinghamshire, Clint Butler, escaped. The fugitive laid low for months but finally decided he just had to get a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/a>. On his expedition to purchase a copy of the latest CoD title, the escapee was caught by the police and sent back to the Gulag (sorry, we just had to) with an extended sentence.<\/p>\n

Clint Butler caught in search of Black Ops Cold War<\/h2>\n

Clint Butler (aged 36) was serving a 17-year sentence before he escaped, for crimes which include firearm offences, and robbery, to name a few.<\/p>\n

During the lockdown, the prison escapee ventured out of his hideout with a friend (identity unknown) in search of a copy of Black Ops Cold War.<\/p>\n

Clint Butler and his friend, according to a recently-updated report<\/a> by West Midlands Police department, turned around and attempted to walk away after spotting police officers.<\/p>\n

When asked why they were out during lockdown, Clint responded by explaining: “I’ve come to get the new Call of Duty because I can’t sit around in lockdown.”<\/p>\n

Butler kicked an officer in the groin and attempted to flee but was apprehended. You can check out the video of the incident from the West Midlands Police department below.<\/p>\n
